The Philippine Overseas Employment Administration in Negros Occidental
said job openings are available in Korea and Saudi Arabia for Negrenses
interested to work abroad, the Philippine Information Agency announced.
Carmen Nagum, head of the local POEA Satellite Office, said
applicants from Bacolod City and Negros Occidental may visit their
office for details. Registration for Korea is now ongoing and applications
will be accepted not later than March 23 for the hiring that will
start in April or May this year.
Applicants must be 18 to 38 years old but those who are already
38 must not be born earlier than 1968. They should be at least high
school graduates and willing to take the Korean Language Test.
They are required to submit a valid passport or authenticated
NSO birth certificate, NBI clearance for travel abroad, school diploma
or transcript of records, two pieces 2x2 photos with red background
and nametag.
College graduates are required to have at least a year of
work experience and high school graduates, a two-year work experience.
POEA said the Ministry of Health of Saudi Arabia needs 1,500
female Christian nurses, 500 Muslim nurses, 100 female medical technologist,
100 female respiratory technologist and 100 female physical therapists.
The positions are open for BSN, BSRT, and ART board passers
with two years hospital work experience except for nurses and Muslim
applicants.
Applicants are required to submit a detailed resume with job
description, six pieces 2x2 pictures, photocopies of college diploma,
certificate rating and PROID, and employment certificate.
Under-board Muslim nurses will be accepted. Those who will
be hired will enjoy additional SR100 for every year of acceptable
work experience and nurses with specialized area of assignment will
receive an additional 35 percent of the basic salary.
