Kindergarten Affair

The graduation and goodbye day show of the Child's Place was held at the Casa Maria Spiritual Center at Burgos Extension, in Bacolod City recently. The affair started at 9 a.m. with the graduates leading the opening prayer and welcoming the guests. They also gave recognition to those present, including their nannies.

Highlight of the morning program was the Disney classic "Cinderella," where parents and grandparents couldn't seem to get enough of their little ones dancing as birds, fairies, elves, pumpkins mice, horses, footmen, villagers and ball guests.

Mysa Bantug played the role of Cinderella, and Jacob Regalado was her dashing prince. Cast as the stepsisters were Marianne Villanueva and Ea Sanoy, Marianna Monfort was Cinderella's stepmother, while Alyssa Jochico was the sweet fairy godmother. In their bouncy "Cinderella" dance numbers, Luigi Granada and Basti Monfort led the pack of tiny mice and Isham Chugani did justice to the role of Lionel.
