Five Bacoleños will receive the Ang Banwahanon Award during the Charter Day program at the BAYS Center that will start at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow.

They are Olivia Villaflores Yanson, Wilhelmina Gonzales, Roberto Montelibano, Cecilia Del Castillo-Lopez and Dr. Miguel Sarabia. The board of Judges for the Ang Banwahanon Award are Fr. Mamerto Alfeche as chairman and Primo Esleyer, Manny Jalandoni, Dr. Gil Octaviano, lawyer Rodolfo Parreño and Architect Manuel Puentevella as members.

Guest of honor and speaker for the Charter Day program is Pampanga Rep. Mikey Arroyo.

Judge Gorgonio Ybañez will be given the Dungganon Nga Bacolodnon Award, and Dr. Antonio Gauzon, the City Mayor's Outstanding Community Service Award.

Those who will be given special citations are Dr. Oscar Hilado, Ruperto Toga, Eduardo De Guzman, Isidto family (Dr. and Mrs. Edilleon Isidto) and Gale family (Mr. and Mrs Eusebio Gale) - Huwarang Pamilyang Pilipino, and Christina Amar and Analy Siononio, who will receive a heroic award.

The top ten real estate taxpayers are Coca Cola Bottlers Company, San Miguel Corp., Bacolod Commercial and Industrial Park, Robinsons Land Corp. and Metropolitan Bank and Trust Company - corporation category; and Luis Ong, Belena Ong, Stephanie Ong, Lee Eng Khong and Catherine Ong - individual category.

The ten top business taxpayers for 2006 are Mc Jola Inc. (McDonald's), Schuumans and Van Ginneken Philippines Inc., GLP Foods Corp. (Jollibee), Coca-Cola Bottlers Inc. and NEO Food Corp. (Jollibee) - corporation category, and Orley Ong (Pizza O Corner Restaurant), Araceli Regalado (AIM Mendoza Trucking Services), Rogelito Sy (Chinky's Snack), Wilson Chong (Bacolod Apollo Restaurant) and Erwin Lim (Long Life Trading) - individual category.

The winners for the Most Outstanding City Government Employees sponsored by the Rotary Club of Bacolod are Femmy Rivera of the City Mayor's Office, Ernie Asoy - City Population Office, Marieta Coruña - Department of Social Services and Development, Tessie Banay - Department of Interior and Local Government, and Grevin de la Tinia - City Engineer's Office.

The members of the Bacolod City Government Executive Association have unanimously endorsed City Health Office Dr. Edgardo Estrella as the Most Outstanding Bacolod City Government Executive.
