New FCBI branch opens

First Community Bank, Inc., a microfinance-oriented bank, in Bacolod City, recently held the inauguration and blessing of its Iloilo Branch, at Iznart Street, Capitol Road, Iloilo City.

Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog, the FCBI board of directors, bank personnel, clients, city councilors and officials, attended the event.

FCBI chairman and president Lawrence Villanueva said he is very much impressed with the economic progress and development of Iloilo but that is one of the reasons why a branch was opened there.

FCBI Iloilo offers checking, savings and time deposit accounts, foreign exchange, microfinance, agricultural and business loans, OFW and salary loans as well as loans secured by real estate and chattel mortgages, the press release said.

The branch’s acting manager Gerry Binayas, has extensive experience in branch operations and marketing.

FCBI is authorized by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas and is a member of the Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation.

It also has a branch in Bago City, and has micro-banking offices in Hinigaran and La Carlota City, all in Negros Occidental, the press release added.*
