TOSP 7 finalists bared

The Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines Region 7 has announced the regional finalists, who will represent their schools, in the TOSP 7 Formation Week, to be held in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental on April 28 to May 2.

In the IT, Math and Sciences category, Mark Anthony Amparado of the Silliman University; Joshua Eleazar Domen, St. Paul University Dumaguete; Athena Gene Duran of the SU; and Ronnell Padillo of the Cebu Institute of Technology University, are vying for the top honor.

For the Medicine and Health-Related category, the finalists are Felix Mosqueda III of the Negros Oriental State University; Angelica Dwayne Young Ricardo, of the St. Paul University Dumaguete; Ma. Shiril Armero of the Southwestern University; and Ramon Matthew Basabe of the Cebu Doctors University.

Rolando Villamero Jr., regional TOSP representative, said the other categories are the Business and Accountancy, Engineering and Maritime, as well as Humanities and Teacher Education.

The annual search aims to recognize the best and the brightest students in the provinces of Region VII, who have excelled in academics, leadership, and social responsibility, he added.*RG
