Prominent persons in
bluebook probed

Several prominent personalities are now under investigation after their names and contact details were found in a “bluebook” recovered by the police from the residence of a couple during an anti-illegal drug raid in Brgy. 2, Sunday.

City Police Director Senior Supt. Ricardo de la Paz yesterday said he is withholding the names of the personalities pending investigation.

“We will check what is their involvement in illegal drug activities in Bacolod City”, de la Paz said.

Aside from the names of the prominent persons, the “blue book” also contained the daily transactions of Genelyn Jimena and her live-in partner, a certain “Nonoy Amantillo”, de la Paz said.

Based on the “blue book” that de la Paz showed to the media, the couple purchase their supply of shabu at P30,000 for every five grams but sell it at P50,000 to P60,000 in the market.

De la Paz said that the couple is a big time drug pusher because they can sell a huge amount of shabu in a day.

Amantillo and Jimena escaped the anti-illegal drug operation but they will face charges for violation of Sections 5, 11 and 12 of Republic Act 9165 for sale, and possession of illegal drug and paraphernalia possession.*APN
