Bascon restaurant offering
modern cuisine, old favorites

The 27th Bascon restaurant opened yesterday giving the public a taste of Modern Filipino cuisines and the old time Bascon favorites.

The restaurant is right across Bascon Café at 27th Lacson, Street and is a brain child of Marili Bascon-Gonzaga and Tom, children of Oscar “Dodong” Bascon.

Bascon said the restaurant is different and unique compared to other restaurants in Bacolod as it has a combined ambiance of modern and classical Filipino designs.

Gonzaga, meanwhile, also said that they have created three function rooms that can host small meetings and conferences. She said they have received many requests from their clients to have function rooms in their cafes.

The 27th Bascon Restaurant is open daily from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. The schedule will allow them to manage their other cafes as well. “We also have our other restaurants so we want there to go hand-in-hand,” Gonzaga said.

She also said that with their new restaurant the public can enjoy excellent service, ambiance, excellent food that will make them feel like dining in their houses. *LTG
