Gene Pacaldo and Mitchie Sy came out as the fastest long boarders after winning the 2nd Panaad Long Board Push Race, a press release from organizers said.

Pacaldo registered 26 minutes and 54seconds to grab the top prize in the men’s division, while Joachim Sarrosa was three seconds behind for the second place, and Pee Wee Ibañez registered 26 minutes and 59 seconds to finish at third.

In the women’s division, Sy finished the event after 35 minutes and 53 seconds to reign in the competition, while Genene Moreno placed second.

This event, bankrolled by the Bacolod Long Board Community, the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental and Killer Bee 106.3 FM aims to promote long board as another sports discipline among the youth in the province, the press release said.

The activity was also supported by Inkcreme Printshop, Nature's Spring Water and Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas.*
