This time it was Nico Lopingco who exploded with 19 points as Bacolod Basketball Club/Amazing '09 kept their record unblemished with a 97-87 victory against Batch 1992/ 19996/ 2005 / Pooh Spa JMCA in the 4th University of St. La Salle Alumni Association/LNA7 Sports Foundation Basketball Tournament at the West Negros University Gym Monday night.

Hitting three treys in the first quarter, Lopingco sizzled all night as he anchored BBC/Amazing'09 offense en route to the team's 8 th straight win.

The twin triples he unleashed in the final quarter and Timothy Dumancas' 9-point contribution sealed the victory, even as Pooh Spa JMCA put up a fighting stance in the final minutes.

Batang PBA elims
start May 5 at WNU

Organizers of the 2012 Batang PBA – Negros eliminations will meet tomorrow, 5 p.m., at the West Negros University Gym to finalize the list of participants and clarify the tournament guidelines.

Tony Agustin, provincial director of the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas, said the tournament will run from May 5 to 15 with the champion from Negros Occidental advancing to the regional finals.

The regional championship will be among the provincial titlists from Negros, Cebu, and Iloilo , Agustin said.
