Indian, two others
injured in accident

An Indian national and two other persons were injured in motorcycle accidents in Bacolod City, Tuesday.

Traffic investigator Senior Police Officer 1 Xavier Rama identified those injured as Parmjeet Sing, 22, of Rizal-Hilado Streets; Emmanuel Nombre Jr., 38, of Brgy. 36, Bacolod; and Jeoffery Velasco, 20, of Binalbagan town, Negros Occidental.

Velasco was riding a Honda motorcycle driven by Sing when it collided with an Isuzu cargo truck at the highway in Brgy. Tangub, Bacolod, at about 9 a.m.

Investigation showed that the motorcycle was heading north of the highway and the cargo truck driven, by Reynaldo Pasulot, 47, of Estrella Village in Victorias City, Negros Occidental, toward the opposite direction, when the collision happened.

Meanwhile, Nombre told the police that he was riding his Honda wave motorcycle heading north of Lacson Extension, behind the Bacolod City Police headquarters, at about 8 p.m., when it collided with a Canter vehicle driven by an unidentified person.

Nombre sustained injuries and was rushed to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital.*APN
