About 500 delegates are expected to join the three-day 28th national convention of the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary on May 10-12 in Dumaguete City, with Secretary Mar Roxas of the Department of Transportation and Communications as guest of honor and speaker.
Lt. Commander Agapito Bibat, commander of the Coast Guard Station in Dumaguete, said Vice Admiral Edmund Tan, PCG commandant, and the national district commander of the PCG auxiliary, will also attend the convention.
A PCG plenary will be conducted at the Negros Oriental Convention Center on May 11. Other activities are a PCG Commandant's Night at the Tierra Alta in Valencia, a PCG Admiral's Night at the Bravo Golf Club in Sibulan, and a tour of various destinations in Dumaguete and Negros Oriental, to help promote tourism.*JFP
