Father, son, arrested in
anti-drugs operation

A father, his son, and a woman, were arrested by members of the Bacolod City Police Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Group, in successive drug buy-bust operations, in Barangays 20 and 29 in the city, Saturday.

Supt. Santiago Rapiz, CAIDSTOG head, identified the suspects as Roger Tolmo, 54; his son, Alex, 28, of Purok Cadena de Amor; and Susan Agsam, 48, of Purok Avocado, all of Brgy. 20.

Rapiz said the younger Tolmo was apprehended at about 12:30 p.m., after he sold a small sachet of suspected shabu to a police poseur buyer for P200.

Five additional small sachets of the banned substance, two improvised tooters, four disposable lighters, several empty sachets, a pair of scissor, two needles and P1,260, were also recovered from Tolmo during his arrest, police records showed.

Tolmo's father, meanwhile, was nabbed when the police recovered from his possession, a matchbox containing a sachet of suspected shabu, Rapiz said.

Rapiz told the DAILY STAR that the elder Tolmo has been nabbed before for illegal drugs possession but was released on bail, while his son was arrested twice for theft.

CAIDSTOG operatives apprehended Agsam near her house at about 4 p.m., after she handed two small sachets of suspected shabu to a police poseur buyer.

Police records showed that Agsam had also been arrested for illegal drugs sale in 2005.

Station 10 policemen also arrested George Ramoz, 35, of Purok Santo Domingo, at about 3 a.m. yesterday for possession of a tooter, Senior Insp. Ruel Culanag, Station 10 chief, said.*APN
