A grand opening

A new beauty salon opened in Bacolod recently, Alexa's Salon Therapeutique, owned by young entrepreneur Mary Rose Frances Uy, and beauty queen Jan Nichole Fuentevella, the 2003 Ms. MassKara, and the Lin-ay sang Negros and Ms. Western Visayas Tourism, in 2006.

Fr. Naring de La Cruz blessed the new establishment, while Murcia town Mayor Andrew Montelibano and Senior Supt. Ricardo dela Paz director of the Bacolod City Police, cut the ribbon to officially open the salon.

Jetting in from Manila for the occasion were Grendel Alvarado, the Philippines Next Top Model, and also the Zombettes commercial and fashion models based in Manila . Also seen was 2011 MassKara Queen Nikki Drilon.*
