Cops nab 3
suspected robbers

Three suspected robbers were apprehended in Brgy. Alijis and at Luzuriaga Street in Bacolod City Thursday and Saturday, the police said.

Insp. Emmanuel Misajon, Station 7 deputy chief, said they arrested Joel Hermoso, 23, and Danilo Dalmacio, 18, of Purok Neptune in Brgy. Singcang Airport, who broke into a residence at about 3 a.m. Saturday, in Brgy. Alijis.

Norman Tamayo, 69, of Olympia Village reported to the police that Hermoso and Dalmacio destroyed his fence, entered his house and took seven electrical drills.

Three electrical drills were recovered from Hermoso and Dalmacio during their arrest. They are now detained at Police Station 7 and charges are being readied against them, the police said.

Meanwhile, Mark Tan, 33, of Cordova Ave., Brgy. 18, was arrested for robbery by members of the Regional Special Operations Group at about 7:50 p.m. Thursday at Luzuriaga Street , Bacolod .

Tan was nabbed by a team composed of PO3 Joshua Barile, PO2 Jerome Javier and PO1 Francis Garganta, on the strength of an arrest warrant issued by Regional Trial Court Judge Pepito Gellada, who set his bail at P100,000.

Police record showed that Tan robbed a certain Zapiro dela Rosa, 71, last year and took P30,000 in cash, a Swiss Watch worth P5,000 and a wallet containing P4,000.*APN
