Celebrating 98 years
Carmen Ditching Siason celebrated her 98th birthday with a thanksgiving mass at the Riverside Chapel on April 20 with her daughter Rosie and her husband Jackie Jardeleza, son Tim and his wife Ida Marquez Lim Siason, grandsons Dino and Alfonso Siason, the sister of the celebrator, Lourdes, and daughter Rosalend Consing.
Highlight of her birthday bash was the dinner at Nature’s Village in Talisay City, Negros Occidental, that was attended by 80 relatives and close friends.
Tita Carmen, as everybody calls her, was full of energy and enthusiasm in welcoming visitors, including Rosie’s classmates from the Assumption–Iloilo.
After dinner, different kinds of dessert were spread in the table, and gifts were given to the celebrator. In return, Tita Carmen gave each well-wisher a dwarf plant called “spathy phylum” that bears cute flowers, as a remembrance of her birthday.
To Tita Carmen, we wish you good health and God’s blessings.
Remember: If you keep God inside your heart, there is nothing that will come into your life that you won’t be able to handle. God bless you always.*
