Labor hopes wage
ruling bared today

BY CARLA GOMEZ

Labor leaders yesterday said they hope that Labor Regional Director Ponciano Ligutom will announce the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board decision on a pending wage hike petition today.

Ligutom is expected at a RTWPB meeting at Tingting’s Restaurant this morning in Bacolod City, RFTWPB labor representative Hernani Braza said.

The wage board has reportedly already agreed on a minimal wage hike but the labor leaders said they did not know why Ligutom is holding back on announcing it.*CPG
