Talk n Text ties PBA series

Talk N Text’s Pamboy Raymundo and B-Meg’s Joe Devance were ejected from the game, while coach Tim Cone slipped and fell at the sideline then walk out of the court with still close to a minute left in the game.

All these in the span of 1:47 seconds as Tropang Texters got away with a 100-85 Game 4 win last night in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup best-of-seven series at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

It was the kind of game TNT coach Chot Reyes had been demanding from his team after yielding Game 3 to B-Meg.

Ranidel Ocampo, Jimmy Alapag delivered double digit outputs for the Texters, while Jared Dillinger and Larry Fonacier beefed up the defense line.

The outstanding performance from Reye’s frontliners was marred by a scuffle late in the game between Raymundo and Devance.

Best Import awardee Denzel Bowles and Joe Devance each had 17 points to pace B-Meg and Josh Urbiztondo and James Yap scored 15 and 14, respectively.

Yap went 3-for-16 from the field and PJ Simon only had five points, eight below his series average, on just five shots.*NAB
