Cops nab 3 in drug bust
BY ADRIAN NEMES III

A suspected drug peddler and his two companions were arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency at about 3:30 p.m. Friday in Brgy. 2, Bacolod City.

Intelligence Officer 3 Cerilo Baluma, chief of the Intelligence Division of PDEA Region 6, identified those arrested as Noel Cabuguason, Jeffrey Orbecido and James Sausi all of Purok Sigay in Brgy. 2.

Baluma said Cabuguason was apprehended after he handed a small sachet of suspected shabu to one of their agents who acted as poseur-buyer in exchange for P520.

Additional four elongated sachet of suspected shabu and bamboo stick were recovered from Cabuguason when he was apprehended, police records showed.

Baluma said that when PDEA agents entered Cabuguason’s house, they found Orbecido and Sausi and confiscated two small sachets of the banned substance from them.

The suspects are now detained at Police Station 2 lock-up cell and illegal drug charges will be filed against them.*APN
