Chinese Taipei keeps With 40 years of experience on their side, defending champion Chinese Taipei beat Singapore, 66-55, to keep their crown as the 5th Asia Pacific Tchoukball Championships ended yesterday at the West Negros University Gym. With a 12-point lead in the first period, 32-20, champion coach Fang Shen Zzu said they never felt threatened against Singapore as he saw that the Chinese team has a greater advantage over its opponent. Fang, who trained most of the teams that joined the tournament, included host Philippines, said the three-day competition showcased tchoukball as a fast emerging sports in Asia. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
