Eleven schools
joining streetdance

Eleven schools are participating in the 2012 MassKara Festival street and arena dance competitions slated Oct. 20, streetdance committee chairman Rudy Reveche announced yesterday.

For the elementary category, the participants are Banago I Elementary School), Montevista, Mabini, Antonio L. Jayme, E. Garcia, Education Training Center Schools (ETCS) II, and Sum-ag.

For the high school category, participants are Domingo Lacson National High School, Luis Hervias, Luisa Medel, and Teofilo Gensoli .

There will be five winners in the elementary category, and four in high school, Reveche added.

Meanwhile, the streetdance barangay category, with 15 participants, will be on Oct. 21.

Their masks and costumes will be pre-judged on Oct. 14, at 6 p.m. at the Bacolod public plaza.*
