Stars heat up Udyakan Festival,
15th Kabankalan Charter Day

Talents of GMA Network entertained residents and visitors during the 15th Charter anniversary and 10th Udyakan Festival celebrations of Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental recently, a press release from the station said.

The “Sinadya sa Plaza”, hosted by John Arceo, featured Rochelle Pangilinan and Aljur Abrenica, and local production numbers from the Kabankalan Southland College Performing Arts Group as well as standup comedians of the province.

The heavy downpour throughout the show did not stop Kabankalanons from participating in the games and winning prizes, the press release also said.

Mayor Isidro Zayco thanked the Kabankalanons and visitors who joined and enjoyed the various activities lined up for the double celebration from July 30 until August 2, the press release added.*
