NPBC RJ bowlers stay at No. 1

NPBC RJ Stars continued to lead in the rated bracket, while St. Joseph Alumni Association grabbed the leadership in the non-rated department of the 19th Friendship Cup Open Trio Bowling Tournament at the New Top’s Millennium Plaza Alley in Bacolod City.

Davies Fusion was first in the women’s category.

The leading team is mentored by Steve Po and has a seven-round output of 4,661 points, 13 points ahead over second-running Kami Mga Hubin managed by Robbie Elegado with 4,648.

Rounding out the 10-team cast are host Sharp with, 4,625; Davies “A”, 4,569; Mulo Car Aircon, 4,563; Davies “B”, 4,555; Silverado, 4,541; Davies “C”, 4,525; TNT Construction/C-ZAR Machine Shop, 4,448, and ESD Electronz II, 4,441.

St. Joseph topped the non-rated bracket with 4,574 followed by Candles Alimon Steel with, 4,562.

FRM Marketing has 4,549; Metro Sales, 4,528; RJPL, 4,493; ESD Electronz I, 4,488; Canvil Knights, 4,466; RJ Stars, 4,451; St. Joseph II, 4,444; Philippine Daily Inquirer, 4,439; Bago City Bowlers, 4,439; Amor, 4,434, and Haier/Sanyo, 4,337.

In the distaff side, Davies Fusion is still leading with 4,445.

Other scores: Condura ASSFBI Ladies, 4,350; St. Joseph Alumni Association, 4,330; Tiger Eye, 4,195; Panasonic, 4,099; Davies Fusion II, 4,089; Kami Mga Gwapa, 4,055; RJ Stars/NPBC, 4,031, and Racahe, 3,963.

In the individual competition, Johan Genolos of Metro Sales and Lea Javier of Condura recorded the highest pinning mark in the men and women’s bracket with 98 and 94, while KMH’ Wilson Casas and Hernand Garciniego of NPBC in single and double with 161 and 276.

Rowena Juarez of RJ Stars and Javier established the women’s double and single with 250 and 143, respectively.

St. Joseph and Davies Fusion in the team’s single with 400 and 365, as Condura and Metro Sales in double’s with 658 and 720.
