Garcia exhibit set at SU

An art exhibit will be held by Sunny Garcia at the Claire Isabel McGill Luce Auditorium Foyer Gallery of Silliman University in Dumaguete City, 5:30 p.m. August 15, a press release from SU said.

The exhibit that is part of the 50th Cultural Season of the SU Cultural Affairs Committee and will run until August 31.

An expressionist painter specializing in nudes and portraits, Garcia earned his Psychology degree at Silliman and had further studies at the University of Santo Tomas. In 2007, he was launched in a solo exhibit, “The Most Beautiful Creations Under the Sun”, at the Ayala Museum, Greenbelt in Makati City, the press release also said.

He will give a lecture on his work 10 a.m.  August 16 at the SU Dioscoro Rabor Lecture Hall as part of the Albert Faurot Lecture and Workshop Series for Culture and the Arts, the press release added.*
