Diaz eyes top bowler title

FRM Marketing/Sharp bet Irne Diaz took an early lead among the top 10 bowlers of the 19th Sharp Friendship Cup Open Trio Bowling Tournament at the New Top’s Millennium Plaza Alley in Bacolod City.

After five rounds, Diaz posted 111.75 average per game to temporarily head the 10-other s in the non-rated division.

Frantit Miranda of Candles/Alimon Steel and ESD Electronz/ASSFBI starter Nonoy Ayagan were second and third with 107.56 and 107.50 respectively.

Also in the top 10 are Elmer Libo-on (Canvil Knights), 106.90; Rommel Agupitan (St. Joseph HS Alumni), 106.67; Art Palo (St. Joseph HS Alumni), 106.33; Johan Genolos (Metro Sales), 106.10; Nilo Maghari (Metro Sales ) 105.50; Ulysses Pacheco (Canvil Knights), 105.25; Cero Cordova (RJ Stars/NPBC), 105.17, and Edgar Altarejos (St. Joseph HS Alumni Association), 105.

The final list to compete in class C category will be known after the 11-scheduled rounds.

Meanwhile, the Active Solid Strikers Fellowship Bowlers Inc. will hold a non-rated “Single Fun Game” tonight at the same venue.

Prizes are at stake in the one-day activity.*HLG
