The Game Fowl Breeders Association of Negros (GFBAN) P8 Million Guaranteed Prize 9-Stag Derby 2012 will unfold on September 20 at the New Negros Coliseum at SP Village in Barangay Pahanocoy, Bacolod City.

A tribute to Mang Fred Yulo, the stag fest offers P5 million for the champion and P600,000 to three pointers in the elimination round.

At stake for eight pointers is P300,000, while seven and six pointers will win P500,00 and P800,00, respectively.

Entries with six points in the semifinals will have a take home pay of P400,000, and runners-up will get P100,000.

The handler and gaffer of the 9-stag champion will win P200,000 and P100,000 each.

Submission of weights for the opening day competitors is on Sept. 19, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The first elimination phase will consist of three stag fighters on Sept. 20, 21 and 22 and while the second batch on Sept.24, 25 and 26.

The second set of 3-stag elimination rounds will be on Sept.28, 29 and 30, while the first, second and third batch of semifinalists will vie for inclusion in the pre-final on Oct.2,3 and 4.

Entries that post 4.5 to 6.0 points will earn a crack at the grand finals on Oct.7.

Registration fee is P23,500, while minimum bet is P5,500.*
