MANILA – Fitch Ratings has affirmed Rizal Commercial Banking Corp.'s "BB-" Long-Term Foreign- and Local-Currency Issuer Default Ratings with Stable Outlook and 'bb' Viability Rating, a government press release said.
The agency has simultaneously downgraded the Support Rating to "4" from "3" and revised the Support Rating Floor to "B+" from "BB-".
The IDR continues to be driven by the Viability Rating, reflecting RCBC's loan concentration and large, albeit decreasing legacy non-performing assets.

People who want to migrate to New Zealand have to determine and be clear in their objectives for going there, Maricel Weischede, immigrant adviser, said at a seminar yesterday at the Social Hall, of the Provincial Capitol Building, in Bacolod City.
Gov. Alfredo Marañon, Jr. had invited Weischede to talk on the immigration services that Negrenses can avail of in going to New Zealand.
The New Zealand Immigration Help Service that Weischede manages, said any person can apply for work, student, or permanent residency in the country as long as the applicant satisfies the immigration requirements.

A special recruitment activity for skilled workers for Saudi Arabia and Qatar will be held at the Public Employment Service Office in Bacolod City today.
Moises De la Cruz, PESO manager said yesterday that the activity is in partnership with Concept Placement Resources, Inc. that will represent the employers during the interview and screening.
Skilled workers needed are building and industrial electricians, plumbers, carpenters, masons, steel fixers, structural fabricators, fiiters, welders, instrument fitters and technicians, steel erectors and riggers, pipe fitters and fabricators, engineers, formen, land surveyors.
