Odong Paran of Kami Mga Hubin led in the premiere division and also Rolly Alonzo of Philippine Daily Inquirer and Tess Robles of Davies Fusion in the non-rated and women’s category of the top bowlers’ competition of the 19th Sharp Friendship Cup Bowling Tournament at the New Top’s Millennium Plaza Alley in Bacolod City.
The Kami Mga Hubin Bowling team of Robbie Elegado was also the No.1 in the team competition.
Paran topped the rated department with an average of 113.07 per game, while Alonzo and Robles posted 108.33 and 107.50 in their categories.
Nine other aspirants joining Paran in the same division are Hernand Garciniego (NPBC/RJ Stars), 113.06; Nonoy Hulguin (Sharp Aquos), 112.36; Wilson Casas (KMH), 111.88; Marlon Jochico (Davies), 111.50; Rey Bala-an (Sharp), 110.93; Iran Pielago (Davies), 110.25; Norman Pineda (Silverado ASSFBI), 109.54; Nonoy Gatila (Silverado), 109.19, and Edgar Jerez (Davies), 108.88.
With Alonzo in category B are Rommel Agupitan (St. Joseph Alumni), 107.70; Ric Abellar (Bago City Bowlers), 107.50; Nonoy Ayagan (ESD Electronz), 107.07; Johann Genolos (Metro Sales), 106.63; Ulysses Pacheco (Canvil Knights), 106.23; Irne “Pretty Boy” Diaz (Sharp), 106.19; Elmer Libo-on (Canvil Knights), 105.93; Edgar Altarejos (St. Joseph Alumni), 104.93, and Cero Cordova (RJ Stars/NPBC), 104.20.
Rounding out the top 10 list in the women’s side are Minnie Chua (St. Joseph Alumni), Carmen Romales (Tiger Eye); Precy Pillo (Davies Fusion); Stella Ongsingco (St. Joseph); Suzette Morales (St. Joseph); Juliet Regollo (Condura); Lars del Castillo (Panasonic); Sylvia Del Rosario (Condura ASSFBI), and Vilma Robles (Davies Fusion).
