Nat’l darts qualifier
set Aug. 18 at Tops

The Association of Negros Darters & Darts Club is hosting the first leg of the open singles of the Philippine qualifier to the World Darts Championship tomorrow at the New Tops Millennium Plaza, in Bacolod City.

The competition is part of the four qualifying legs that will select the country’s representative to the world championship to be held in London this December.

Darters from different areas in the country are expected to compete in the event, among them are rated players, who will be vying for a slot in the national finals set in October in Manila.

As host of the event, ANDDC organized a post-Qualifier tournament, the “BACIWA Classified Doubles” and “ANDDC Classified Three-Man Team” tournaments on Sunday.

The post-event aims to encourage more darts enthusiasts in the city to join in the national qualifiers.

Aside from Tops Millenium Plaza, ANDDC managed to tap the support of the Bacolod City Water District, Campuestohan Highland Resort, PS Bank, and San Miguel Corp., in hosting the national competition.*NAB
