Ulysses Pacheco of Canvil Knights ruled the “Singles Bowling Fun Game” at the New Top’s Millennium Plaza Alley in Bacolod City.
Seeded No.3 in the top three with a two games score of 224 pinfalls, Pacheco outclassed No.2 seed Hernand Garciniego of the Negros Professional Bowlers Club/RJ Stars in the semifinals, 126-112 for a titular showdown with top qualifier Nonoy Hulguin of Sharp Aquos.
The two protagonists played evenly in the first five frames, but Pacheco led with a series of spares in the sixth to 10th frames to seal the 129-111 victory.
Fourteen non-rated players participated in the tournament.
The fun game was organized by the Active Solid Strikers Fellowship Bowlers Inc.
The next edition is scheduled on Monday, Aug.20 starting at 6:30 p.m.
ASSFBI chairman Edgar Allan Del Rosario is inviting class C or non-rated bowlers to join in this two-game tilt.*
