Awards night

LA VIDA NEGRENSE

It was an evening of glitz and glamour when the officers and employees of Island Living Channel converged in Bacolod City to celebrate their quarterly awards night. It is the largest lifestyle cable channel conglomerate in southern Philippines, whose 24/7 broadcast operations reach 57 cities and towns throughout the Visayas and Mindanao.

The key players and pillars of the television network were mostly present, from the network executives to the senior members of their staff. Everyone looked chic and stylish that evening. The gentlemen were dashing in their barongs while the ladies were gorgeous in their long gowns. The event was hosted by Bea Rodriguez.

Highlights of the affair were the awarding of the “Employee of the Quarter”, that was a tie between Joshua Torres and Antero Adenix Jr., who both received sacks of rice and a month's supply of groceries, school bags for their kids, roasted chicken, a certificate and other prizes. Other winners were Benz Tan, Normi Fornete, and Kaine Corteza, who also won as “Best Editor”, and got similar prizes.

The ILC is the flagship company of the R. Caram Holdings Corporation, with me as chairman, Gabriel Caram, vice chair; Radcibel Caram-Sanchez, president; Lucy Caram, executive vice president, and Em Bergara, VP for Finance.

After the awarding rites, the employees performed song and dance numbers. It was a fun night filled with happy memories to cherish. Congratulations to the winners for a job well done!*
