The investiture of Don Vicente Carballo Real, the new president of the Negros Oriental State University, will be held at 9 a.m. on August 30 at the NORSU Cultural Complex main campus in Dumaguete City, a government press release said.

Expected to attend the investiture rites are officials from the Commission on Higher Education, presidents of state universities and colleges in the region and local government officials in the province, the press release said.

Real is the second president of NORSU, after Henry Sojor, who led the school for 18 years, the press release added.*
