Eleven Degrees posts win
in SJI Alumni basketball
Eleven Degress 96/97/98 notched its first victory at the expense of Raga Raga 2003/04/05 with a 68-58 final tally, while Phoenix 99/2k remains unbeaten after an 82-57 win against the Legends/2009 82-57 in the recent games of the 5th SJI Alumni Basketball Friendship Cup at the Msgr. John Liu Activity Center.
Bouncing back from a 30-26 halftime deficit, Eleven Degrees outscored Raga Raga 26-12 in the third quarter to take a 52-42 lead going to the payoff period.
Tim Garrucho scored nine points and Daniel Tan had six points to spearhead the Eleven Degrees second half rally.
| YBAC semifinals After its sister team ruled the recent Fil-Sino basketball tournament, Joshbianc Motors is eyeing another basketball title by advancing into the final four of the Your Basketball Athletic Club at the West Negros University gym. Joshbianc will face Jaltas Marketing/Consuelo Supermart in the first semis match-up tonight, while RD Trucking/Dr. Pinoy takes on Robinhood Commercial in the second game. Winners will advance to the finals next week. The Jun Ballesteros-managed Joshnianc earned the top spot at the end of elimination after beating Jaltas during the game last Saturday. |
