Hot on the heels of the Mustangs are last year's first runner-up University of St. La Salle, the all revved up University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos Rams, and the rookie-laden Colegio San Agustin-Bacolod Eagles.

The 32nd NOPSSCEA season will officially open on September 14 at the CSA-B with competition in other events set to start the next day.

The sports task force, headed by WNU sports director Anthony Carlo Agustin, has already identified all venues for the different events.

Tennis and volleyball (all levels) will be played at the USLS, while badminton competitions will be held at the Pohang Badminton Center . The WNU covered court will be the venue for chess, while the university's football pitch will host the elementary and secondary football.

College football competitions will be played at the Ayala North and Panaad pitches, while table tennis events will be at the Lopue's Table Tennis Association Center in Lopue's San Sebastian Annex. All athletics events will be held a the Panaad track oval, with the swimming competition, set to start on October 6, at the Panaad swimming pool.
