Ceres, Dynamic Builders to
dispute NFL top honors

Ceres Transport and Dynamic Builders will clash for the championship of the North Football League on Dec. 9 following their separate semifinals win Saturday at the Ayala North Point pitch in Talisay City.

Dynamic advanced to the final after blanking Trimaxi Agro, 3-0, while Ceres blasted Silver Dragon, 6-0, to arrange a titular match this weekend.

Jaime Poderoso opened the game for the Builders with a goal 15 minutes into the game and foiled any attempt from Trimaxi to equalize as the first half ended 1-0.

Jayson Panhay made it 2-0 for Dynamic Builders in the 60th minute, while Mark Arandilla sealed the victory with the team’s third goal in the 71st minute.

Meanwhile, Janrick Soriano an Garret Parcon had two goals each to lead Ceres Trasport in subduing the Silver Dragon in their own semifinals match-up.

Ceres entirely dominated the match as the Silver Dragon failed to stop Arvin Villaruel from scoring the match’s first goal in 3rd minute, and Aaron Amantillo in the 11th minute.

Soriano struck in the 14th and 60th minute while Parcon scored in the 24th and 57th minute.

The tournament, sponsored by Leo Rey Yanson, provides local booters a venue to polish their skills and improve their game while boosting the province’s claim as the football capital in the country.*NAB
