Christmas is in the air

It was a night of music, songs, dances, games and prizes when the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary, 602nd PCGA Squadron, Sea Hawk Division held their annual Christmas Party at the Cactus Hall of Sta. Fe Resort in Bacolod City.

Present were Western Visayas district director, Commodore Elizabeth Salabas; PCG Bacolod station commander, Dominador Senador III; 602nd PCGA Squadron director, Captain Ferdinand Turbanon; 602 Sea Hawk Division director, Captain Albert Lim Jr., and other officers and members. The event was organized by deputy division director, Eduardo Villanueva.

Christmas messages were given by the guests of honor, with operations officer, commander James Chua, giving the response. Lim presented a plaque of appreciation for the friendship extended by Senador, who will be assigned in Iloilo. A short ceremony will be given in his honor today at the Coast Guard Station in Bacolod City.

Gifts and prizes were raffled off. Everyone went home happy and looking forward to the next fellowship of the group.

Fr. Farley Santillan led the blessing of the My Phone Outlet of Galleon Enterprises at the Eusebio Arcade along Lacson Street recently.

The event kicked off with a motorcade attended by Pinoy Big Brother celebrities Karen Reyes and Ryan Boyce, with the caravan traversing the major throughfares of Bacolod.

Bacolod Vice Mayor Thaddy Sayson and Jose Arzadon assisted the Eusebio couple in the ribbon cutting. Customers lined up the streets, in the hope of being counted among the first 200 clients who can avail of discounts.

The event was capped by a sumptious lunch.
