4-year-old boy gets help

The parents of the 4-year-old child diagnosed with lymphocytic leukemia yesterday received a total of P18,300 cash donation from four DAILY STAR readers who generously offered their help.

The father, Ronald King, yesterday said his child RJ has been having chemotherapy for three years. He said his job as a part-time construction worker cannot sustain the medical needs of his child and that the cash donations from anonymous donors have helped them very much.

RJ's mother, Rowena, said her son is scheduled for chemotherapy tomorrow at the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital and the money they received yesterday will be used for the procedure and his other medical needs.

The parents thanked the donors for their support said they hope it will help in the fast recovery of their child.*LTG
