Dilag sworn in at BACIWA

Former Bacolod City Administrator Lorendo Dilag was sworn into office by Bacolod City Water District chairman Pompeyo Querubin recently, after he was appointed by Mayor Evelio Leonardia as member of the Board of Directors, representing the Education Sector, a press release from BACIWA said.

Dilag replaced Greg Gasataya, who resigned when he filed his certificate of candidacy for vice mayor of Bacolod City.

Dilag acquired his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos and passed the bar examination in 1976, the press release said.

He also served as vice governor of Negros Occidental from 1986 to 1989 and city council from 1992 to 2001.

He will serve at BACIWA until December 2016, the press release said.*
