Class ’82 takes lead
in NOHS bowling tilt

Class ’82 is leading the premiere division, while Class ’68 and Class ’95 head bracket B and C of the President’s Cup Bowling Tournament 2012 hosted by the Negros Occidental High School Alumni Association Inc. at the Super Lanes of the Goldenfield Commercial Complex in Bacolod City.

Batch ’82 leads with 4,557 pinfalls followed by Class 66 with 4,404.

In the same category are Class 84 with 4,375, C’74, 4,354; C85, 4,254; C83, 4,242; C89, 4,195; C97, 4,186; C80, 4,088 and GOLDEN, 4, 061.

In bracket B, Class 68 and C’ 2000-Up took the first two slots with 4,252 and 4,238 respectively.

Joining them are C’70 with 4,217; C’71, 4,195; B’87; C’67 Maverick, C’90; C’67, 4,050; C’65, 4,016, and C’98, 3,911.

Class ‘95 is still leading in bracket C with 4,231 balls.

Also in the category are Class 91, 4,063; C’ 99, 3,977; C’ 62, 3,953; C’ 92; C’ 88, 3,940; C’92, 3,933, C’77, 3,880; B’96, 3,841; C’75, 3,710, and C’75SEC, 3,282.

Frederick Ballesteros of the tournament committee said action will resume today, while the last round of the elimination phase is scheduled on Dec.10 to determine the final four squads to vie for the title in their respective bracket.

The No.1 team in each bracket will earn the twice-to-beat advantage in the final up-the-ladder championship on Dec.15.*HLG
