‘Drivers need discipline’
BY CARLA GOMEZ

Negros Occidental Gov. Alfredo Marañon Jr. yesterday stressed the need for more discipline to prevent road accidents.

A lot of road accidents are caused by lack of discipline, he said, noting the numerous mishaps, recently.

Drivers of motorcycles and trisikads should also follow rules and regulations, he added.

He noted that motorcycle drivers continue to ply the streets without helmets, and they should be acted on by the proper agencies.

The governor said action should also be taken against overloaded cane trucks to avoid accidents.*CPG
