Multi-stakeholders
forum Monday

A multi-stakeholders forum on the national agro-industrial policy, sugarcane industry roadmap and sustainable development will be held Monday from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Social Hall of the Negros Occidental Provincial Capitol in Bacolod City.

The forum aims to deepen understanding of the national agro-industrial policy framework and strategy; disseminate the Sugarcane Industry Roadmap 2011-2016 and gather inputs from grassroots-based organizations and other stakeholders.

The event is also hoped to provide the bases from the ground level to work together, in social partnership with government and other stakeholders of the integrated sugar and its allied industries, the press release said.

The forum is jointly sponsored by the United Nations Civil Society Advisory Council, Fair Trade Alliance and the Philippine Employer-Labor for Social Partnership.*CGS
