Negros Occidental Gov. Idzenga, whose group had won worldwide recognition for developing the ram pump technology, has partnered with the Alter Trade Corporation and the Department of Science and Technology in establishing the lemon grass distiller for the NAPFWA farmers, a press release from the group said.

The Department of Health in Western Visayas warned the public to avoid buying toys that could post danger to children, a government press release said yesterday.

“Buy safe toys for kids,” DOH-6 director Susana Madarieta advised.

She asked the public to buy toys that are safe and non-toxic, durable and well-constructed.
