No DOJ ruling on Arles yet
BY CARLA GOMEZ

Rep. Mercedes Alvarez (Neg. Occ., 6 th District) yesterday said they are still waiting for the ruling of the Department of Justice on the complaint filed for the murder of Judge Henry Arles, which was expected December 15 or 16 yet.

Her brother, Ilog Mayor John Paul Alvarez, and father, Vice Governor Genaro Alvarez, were implicated in the case.

“We are confident that it will be dismissed because we are on the side of the truth”, she said, pointing out that they have submitted their counter-affidavits before the DOJ.*CPG
