888 Chinatown, Sta. Fe
post win in Tan Kek Pin

With Marc Lo finding his range early in the game and tallying 21 points, 888 Chinatown Square beat Nena's Rose I, 76-70, to register its second win in Class B of the 12th Tan Kek Pin Memorial Basketball Cup, Wednesday night at Tay Tung High School Po Hang Gym.

Nena Rose tried to cut the lead in the third quarter as the squad matched the 15-point output of 888 Chinatown, but the latter has the game under control.

Dy tried to turn things around in the fourth quarter as he delivered 14 points for Nena Rose, but his effort was not enough to overhaul the lead as Lo scored nine points and Pandoro with seven points to seal 888 Chinatown’s second victory in the tournament.

Not giving Alfie’s boys the chance to come near, Michael Ang unloaded three triples and Ren Ren Lacon netted 12 points for Sta. Fe in the second quarter for a commanding lead.

Lacson finished the game with 17 points to lead Sta. Fe scorers, while Bol Manaloto registered 13 points, Ang tallied 12 points all for the three-point area, and Edward Uy added 8 points.
