OFW’s body arriving
on Monday

The body of an Overseas Filipino Worker from La Castellana town in Negros Occidental who was among the 26 people killed when an old six-story building in Beirut, Lebanon, collapsed on January 15, is expected to arrive at the Bacolod Silay Airport 6 a.m. on Monday .

Anna Marie Lucasan, head of the Public Affairs Division of the Office of the Governor, said she was informed of the return of the body of Mary Ann Davatos, 26, by Barangay Nato Captain Elizabeth Lagunday.

Denmark Davatos, 28, said his sister had been working as a domestic helper in Lebanon for three years.*CPG
