No DAR decision yet
on raps vs. rallyists

BY LISA GAPAC

The Department of Agrarian Reform management committee in Negros Occidental is set to meet next week to decide whether to file a case against the members of Task Force Mapalad-Negros who damaged government property during a rally in front of DAR office Wednesday.

The group picketed outside the DAR office and threw squash and destroyed a glass window of the office.

Gloria Cañonero, DAR Negros information officer said, that they reported the incident to the police and had it recorded. A report was also submitted to the DAR regional and central offices about the incident, she said.

Meanwhile, Station 1 policemen of the Bacolod City Police are currently investigating on the case, she added. *LTG
