KMH stays at No. 1 in
bowling tournament

Kami Mga Hubin kept the No.1 spot in the Class A division and ESD Electronz/ASSFBI and Condura ASSFBI Ladies did the same in Bracket B and women’s department of the New Top’s Millennium Plaza organized Open Trio Bowling Championship in Bacolod City.

With two more schedules left in the elimination phase, KMH of Robbie Elegado is now comfortably ahead in the 12-team pack with 5,184 points, while the Electronz of Pat Mendoza had the highest, breaking a new record in triple with 1,102 in Bracket B with 5,000 pinfalls.

The Sharp bowlers was second with 5,073 pinfalls.

The highest leap was that of Steve Po’s NPBC TNT/RJ Stars from 11th place to third overall with 4,944 after 1,081 in the fifth round.

Metro Sales headed by Boboy Villaflor was fourth with 4,934, followed by Davies “R” of Romel Jover and Edgar Jerez with 4,928.

Amor ESD has 4,925; NPBC TNT/Tough Trucks I, 4,922; Davies “B” 4,906; NPBC TNT/TT II, 4,905; Mulo Car Aircon I/Balayan Distillery, 4,775, and SVG Mulo Car Aircon II, 4,766.

With Electronz in category B are Kami Mga Hubin 2, 4,829; Candles/Alimon Steel, 4,821; Davies “C”, 4,806; FRM Marketing/Sharp, 4,751; Sanyo, 4,649, and St. Joseph Alumni Associotion, 4,591.

Other competitors in the women’s department are Davies Fusion I with 4,838; Tiger Eye I, 4,734; Tiger Eye II, 4,562; Davies Fusion III, 4,467; Davies Fusion II, 4,440; Panasonic/ON-BACIBA, 4,347; Retro, 4,338; Racahe, 4,332, and Kami Mga Gwapa, 4,208.

ESD Electronz is the team’s highest single and triple record holder with 413 and 1,102 pinfalls in the men’s bracket, and Davies Fusion in the women’s single with 378.

Suzette Morales of Tiger Eye established the record in women’s pinning with 95 leading Leah Uy’s of Retros’ 92, as Cesar Sumaylo of Mulo Aircon topped the mark of Totong Ruiz in the men’s bracket of 92 with his 93 production.

Ricky Ondovilla of NPBC TNT/RJ Stars holds the new record in the individual highest single and triple with 160 and 413 points while Condura starter Leah Javier booked the women’s record with 138 and 381, respectively.

The battle of the top 10 bowlers is set on Feb.22, and the up-the-ladder championship in the team competition is on Feb.24.
