Return of Iggy
body delayed

The body of Rep. Ignacio "Iggy" Arroyo (Neg. Occ., 5th District) will have to remain in London a little longer, a report from  ABS-CBN  said.

The UK court has set a trial on Feb. 20 to determine who between Aleli Arroyo, Iggy's legal wife, and his live-in partner, Grace Ibuna, has rightful claim over his remains, it said.

Based on the last will and testament of Iggy, Ibuna has this right, but  there are complications since the will was made in San Francisco while Iggy died in London.

Iggy  had wished to be buried in Manila.

The British court has asked Ibuna's camp to hire a legal expert from the Philippines who can give them opinion on the matter and guide the court in its decision on the case, ABS-CBN also reported.*
