BUS G eyes finals  in
Sharp Cup tourney

Basketball Unified Sports Group stopped La Carlota, 78-70, and Negros Basketball Group demolished Handumanan, 88-60, in the 40-Up division as the elimination round ends in the Sharp Basketball Cup at Regent Pearl gym, Sunday.

Emerging on top of their group, the younger Huskies, will clash against NBG at 5:30 p.m. in the semifinals this Sunday, with a twice-to-beat advantage.

Also leading the cast in 50-up, BUS G will be facing No. 4 team Hinigaran at 1 p.m.

Bays Club, led by former PBA player Vernie Villarias, takes on La Carlota in the other 40-Up semis game at 2:30 p.m., while Negros Professionals Athletic Club and Real Med will dispute the other 50-Up final slot at 4 p.m. All games will be played at the Regent Pearl gym.
