28 hired for jobs abroad

Four persons were hired on the spot, while 28 qualified for the manpower pooling during the employer’s interview conducted by representatives of EastWest Placement Center International at the Bacolod Government Center in Bacolod City, Wednesday.

Moises de la Cruz, manager of Public Employment Service Office, and executive assistant to Mayor Evelio Leonardia, said the applicants will work for skilled jobs like pump controllers, technicians on diesel, generators, pumps and plumbing, and water treatments, and HVAC engineers and specialists.

The hired workers will work for a company in Saudi Arabia and can immediately start working abroad after complying with all requirements and documents needed, de la Cruz said. *LTG
