KMH keeps hold
in bowlfest

Kami Mga Hubin hold on to the leadership in the Class A division, as ESD Electronz and Condura ASSFBI Ladies led their departments in the New Top’s Millennium Plaza-organized Open Trio Bowling Championship in Bacolod City.

With one more game left in the eliminations, the Robbie Elegado-anchored KMH had a twice-to-beat advantage in the finals with a total score of 6,157 points.

Sharp Team managed by Irne Diaz is second with 6,064 followed by NPBC TNT/RJ Stars of Steve Po with 5,972.

Behind them are Metro Sales led by Boboy Villaflor and AMOR ESD of Roger Flores with 5,951 and 5,918.

Davies “R” of Romel Jover and Edgar Jerez has 5,909; NPBC TNT/Tough Trucks I, 5,871; NPBC TNT/TT II, 5,845; Davies “B”, 5,836; Silverado, 5,806; Mulo Car Aircon/SVG II, 5,799, and Mulo Car Aircon I, 5,751.

In category B, ESD Electronz headed by Pat Mendoza continued to remain on top with 6,048 balls which gives them the automatic No.1 slot to the championship.

Candles/Alimon Steel and Kami Mga Hubin were in second and third spots with 5,887 and 5,779.

Other scores: Davies “C”, 5,777; FRM Marketing, 5,729; Sanyo, 5,578, and St. Joseph Alumni Association, 5,529.

Condura ASSFBI Ladies composed of Juliet Regollo, Sylvia Del Rosario, Lea Javier and Nelsie Popen controlled the women’s division with 5,793 followed by Davies Fusion I of Vilma Robles with 5,757.

Tiger Eye I headed by Cecil Biendo was third with 5,636.

The other competing squads are Tiger Eye II, 5,437; Davies Fusion III, 5,363; Davies Fusion II, 5,269; Panasonic/On-BACIBA, 5,220; Racahe/ON-BACIBA, 5,159; Retro, 5,148, and Kami Mga Gwapa, 5,116.

ESD Electronz had the team’s highest single and triple records with 413 and 1,102 pinfalls in the men’s bracket, and Davies Fusion in the women’s single with 378.

Suzette Morales of Tiger Eye kept the record in the women’s pinning with 96, as Cesar Sumaylo of Mulo Aircon did in the men’s bracket with his 93 productions.

Ricky Ondovilla of NPBC TNT/RJ Stars record in the individual men’s highest single and triple are intact at 160 and 413 points, respectively, while Condura reliable Lea Javier in the women’s side with 154 and 377.

The race for the final slots continues tonight with only six teams to survive in the premiere division to compete in the final countdown on Feb.24.*HLG
